2026 世界杯扩军至 48 队，小组赛后由 32 支球队进入淘汰赛：12 个小组前两名，加上 8 个成绩最好的小组第三名。淘汰赛包括 32 场比赛，并设置三四名比赛。
小组赛12 组，每组 4 队。
淘汰赛32 强 → 16 强 → 8 强 → 4 强 → 决赛。
三四名两场半决赛败者进入 M103。
